Autism before 1980 was diagnosed 1 in 10,000 births. Most recent statistics by our own government now show it is diagnosed 1 in every 150 births. *In 2000, it was stated that 1 in every 6 children in America suffer from problems such as autism, aggression, dyslexia, and attention deficit hyperactive disorder.  In January of 2001, it was reported that 1 in 10 children have some sort of mental health problem in the USA.  The main answer, for decades, has been mind-numbing DRUGS: obviously, without success.

According to Dr. Robert Melillo, M.S., D.C.M, D.A.C.B.N., brain researcher and founder of the Unlimited Potential Brain Balance Centers, and according to a virtual ‘who is who’ of respected scientists, medical practitioners and educators, we are in the midst of an epidemic, that is about to adversely affect the make-up of our communities for years to come.

Dr Jeffrey D. Thompson, D.C., B.F.A., founder of The Center for Neuroacoustic Research, comments on the ADD/ADHD crisis:In 1985, 50,000 children were reportedly diagnosed with ADD / ADHD.  In 2006, the number diagnosed had increased to 5-7 million, including 1.6 million elementary school children in the United States, between the ages of 6 and 11 years, reportedly being diagnosed each year.”

The mentally challenged, whether they have mild or severe cases of Autism, Bi Polar, ADD/ADHD or any other brain malady, if they remain undiagnosed or inadequately treated during childhood, or if they continue to be ‘dumbed-down’ by drugs; they are sentenced to a harsh, pain filled and uncertain future, as the one in three with these mental disorders, struggling to keep it together within our families and communities.

The fact is that only a limited part of our community is able to become sufficiently informed and diagnosed, and is also fortunate enough to be within a public system that reaches out with treatment and therapeutic care.  The vast majority within our community either falls between a haunting crack of neglect within our system, or find themselves and their children inadequately responsive to the main stream therapies being offered.

Additionally, being constantly on call 24/7, virtually all of the parents of these children finds themselves struggling under the unrelenting pressure of physical, emotional and psychological stress.  This invariably leads to fatigue, depression, and breakdown of marital relationships.
Again, according to Dr. Melillo, “the statistics are staggering indeed. But what I find most alarming is that despite the meteoric rise in children and families suffering from these disorders the approach to the diagnosis and remediation has changed very little in the past 50 years. It should be obvious by now that what we are doing in traditional education and medical terms is failing miserably and we need to look to a new model in which to approach these problems. We need to fundamentally change the way we look at these problems and we need to do this quickly. The fact is that most of the answers we are seeking are actually already available in some of the brilliant brain research that is being done”.

We need to fundamentally change the way we treat these disorders, and also how we continue to expect and depend upon others to address these problems. And, we need to do this right now.
DreamWeaver House, primarily located in Islip Terrace, New York, supported by corporate and private sponsors, is able to provide FREE diagnostic evaluation and modern drug free, clinically proven alternative therapies to children and their emotionally stressed caregivers.

DreamWeaver House’s services for Autism Spectrum disorders in children, and Stress Reduction for mothers, fathers and other primary caregivers is a combination of safe, non-invasive frequency therapies, which are based upon decades of published research and proven clinical use. These therapies, which are compatible with any medications being used, and which, although they have been proven as highly effective alternatives to medications, have nonetheless been ignored by the mainstream of treatment promoters, simply because they cannot be privately owned, mass produced and sold as drugs.
